FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork, a team captain, said the game always continues to move on, no matter who is in the locker room.

The Patriots have had no issues gearing up for the Jets this week, despite the notable release of Albert Haynesworth. When asked if he was disappointed that Haynesworth didn't meet expectations, Wilfork seemed unfazed.

"You have to do what you have to do," Wilfork said. "Things happen all the time. You have to be able to keep the ball rolling and deal with certain situations as they come. You really can't be bracing yourself for what might happen. You just have to be prepared, and when it happens, you have to move forward. We're definitely moving forward. The ball is going to continue to roll no matter how you slice it — the ball will roll. The ball is still rolling."
