The Sabres have had their fair share of outstanding goaltenders. From Donald Edwards to Dominik Hasek, Buffalo has always been strong between the iron.

One of the franchise's best goalies has some local ties, grabbing 124 wins as a Sabre in his first five-plus NHL seasons. In fact, he became just the third goalie to bag both the Calder Trophy and Vezina Trophy in the same season.
