Avery Johnson Doesn't Understand Fans Booing Kris Humphries, Finds It 'Hilarious'

Kris Humphries had a tumultuous offseason, what with his marriage to divorce from Kim Kardashian and all, and the fans have not responded too kindly to it so far this year.

He's been booed on the road twice this season, and was also recently voted the most hated player in the NBA.

On Monday, Nets head coach Avery Johnson joined the ever-growing crowd wondering exactly what everybody is so upset about.

"I'm trying to figure out, what did he do?" Johnson remarked when asked about the boos Humphries has heard on the road this season.

"I'm serious," he continued. "Maybe because I don't follow reality TV, I don't know all the ins and outs of it, but it's pretty hilarious to me. I don't know if they even know why they're booing him."

Humphries now claims that he's using the boos and his new "most-hated" title as motivation. It seems to be working, too, since he went off for 21 points and 16 rebounds in the Nets 90-84 win over the Wizards.
