Bill Belichick, Tom Brady Have No Plans to Join Wes Welker, Fellow Patriots on TwitterFOXBORO, Mass. — While Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker and tight end Aaron Hernandez are busy trying to break the Internet, the team's two biggest stars — quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick — have said they'll give cyberspace a break for a while.

Hernandez joined Twitter on Monday, and Welker jumped on board Tuesday. Within 20 hours of Hernandez's first tweet, he had nearly 35,000 followers. Welker surpassed 60,000 followers within five hours of his first tweet.

Brady said wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has tried to get him connected to Twitter, but Brady joked that he's "a lot tougher sell than [Welker and Hernandez]."

Belichick, on the other hand, said he'll "never" get on Twitter.

"You'll never see me on Twitter, MyFace, Yearbook or any of that," Belichick said Tuesday. "Forget about that."

Belichick added, "That's not really my thing. … Before I can join any of those, I'd have to know what they are."
