FOXBORO, Mass. — Patriots head coach Bill Belichick declined to disclose why quarterback Tom Brady and defensive lineman Vince Wilfork have been limited in practice this week.

Brady and Wilfork were listed on the practice report as limited for non-injury reasons both Wednesday and Thursday, which could mean any number of things, including rest or a family matter.

"There could be a lot of reasons — personal reasons, guys could have to go to a funeral, maybe he's got a family issue that he needs to attend to, maybe it's I don't know," Belichick said Friday morning. "If it's not injury related, it's not injury related. If it's injury related, then we list it. I don't know what you guys are looking for. If a guy's got an injury, then we'll list the injury. If he doesn't have an injury, then we say it's not injury related."

Belichick was asked four questions about their status, and he simply said he wouldn't discuss a player's personal matter.

"We won't talk about players' personal situations," Belichick said. "If they want to talk about it or there is something to talk about or whatever it is, it's personal. So I don't think that necessarily has to be shared with the rest of the world. It could be, but it doesn't have to be."
