Three-time ACC linebacker of the week Luke Kuechly joins the NESN Daily team on Friday night.
Kuechly recently earned 2011 first-team All-America honors by the Associated Press and Sports Illustrated. The 6-foot-3, 237-pound junior was presented with the Butkus Award, given to the nation’s top linebacker, in a ceremony at the team’s awards banquet on Dec. 4.
He had a 33-game double-digit tackle streak, the longest streak of its kind in FBS college football between 2009-11. He had 191 total tackles (102 solo) and three interceptions this season.
