Bruins Dominate Maple Leafs for Two Minutes in What’s Being Referred to as ‘The Shift’


If you walked into the room during the Bruins' offensive clinic in the third period of Saturday night's game against the Maple Leafs, you might have thought the B's were on the power play. That's the way it certainly looked.

The Bruins put together one of the most dominant two minutes of 5-on-5 hockey you'll ever see, outworking the Leafs and cycling the puck with ease. They were unable to tally a goal during the shift, but it forced Toronto to use a timeout and sent the TD Garden crowd into a frenzy.
