Bruins Have Chance for Payback When Upstart Panthers Come to Garden Before Christmas Break

One of the NHL's biggest surprise this season has been the play of the Florida Panthers.

The upstart bunch from South Florida will come to Boston on Friday night as the Southeast Division leaders, currently tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference in points.

Not only will the Panthers' stop at TD Garden present a formidable Eastern Conference test for the Bruins, it will also give the B's a chance for a little payback. Florida offered Boston one of just two regulation losses since the beginning of November when they beat the Bruins 2-0 on Dec. 8.
