Chad Ochocinco is no stranger to Twitter. But a few of his teammates were — until now.

Ochocinco convinced Wes Welker (@WesWelker) and Aaron Hernandez (@AaronHernandez) to join the Twitterverse on Tuesday, and the followers are already piling up for the two Patriots playmakers.

Upon joining, Welker tweeted, "@ochocinco has me trying out this twitter thing. How many followers will I have by this Saturday's game?! Thanks och!"

This latest development even got the attention of Rob Gronkowski (@RobGronkowski), who tweeted, "Wes is like Charlie Sheen, he is shutting down Twitter today folks! Follow his booty @weswelker !!!"

Ochocinco's next target: Tom Brady. And while Brady didn't join within the 20-minute time frame put forth by the New England wideout, Ochocinco's Twitter prowess is undeniable. It even prompted Welker to ask Ochocinco how much of Twitter he owned, to which the Twitter legend responded, "I own a 3%"

Don't expect head coach Bill Belichick to take the plunge anytime soon, though. In a response similar to one he's given before, Belichick said. "Never. You'll never see me on Twitter, MyFace, Yearbook, or any of that."

You heard the man, any of that.
