With the way the Bruins have been playing since the start of November, it was beginning to look like they may never lose again. But the Stars were able to stop the B's in their tracks on Saturday night in Dallas.
The B's played some sloppy hockey at times, and they were unable to overcome those lapses. During the course of their hot streak, they've been able to pull out wins even when they haven't put forth their best game, but that simply wasn't the case against the Stars.
Head coach Claude Julien said there's not too many positives to take away from the defeat, but the team will now turn its focus to the New Jersey Devils, who the B's have a date with on Wednesday.
