Derrick Rose Playing Alongside Michael Jordan Among Highlights of TNT’s Impressive ‘NBA Forever’ Intro (Video)

Montages are pretty hit or miss. But TNT knocked one out of the park with its “NBA Forever” intro that opened Sunday’s Celtics-Knicks broadcast.

There’s been a lot of hype surrounding the beginning of the NBA season since the lockout ended, but the TNT intro is sure to get you even more fired up about basketball’s return. It blends footage involving current players with old-school footage, leaving us with a goosebump-inducing final product that gives a glimpse of what it would be like to see the league’s stars of today play alongside the stars of yesteryear.

We get to see Derrick Rose fist bump Michael Jordan, Larry Bird feed Ray Allen with a pass in transition, Tim Duncan chirp with Bill Walton and much more. It’s all set to Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors’ “Live Forever.”
