During the third period of the Bruins win over the Penguins on Monday night, a scary collision took place.
As Penguins center Evgeni Malkin avoided a hit from Bruins defensemen Zdeno Chara, Malkin attempted to cut back but skated right into a head-on collision from left winger and a cage-wearing Daniel Paille.
The result? A little Paille to the face.
There was no penalty on the ugly play, and rightly so as it appears to be an accident. Fortunately, Malkin returned to play shortly thereafter.
