Concussions have hit the Philadelphia Flyers, and they have hit them hard. We already know that Chris Pronger is done for the season, and it's unclear how long Philly will be without arguably its best player, Claude Giroux, who is also sidelined with a concussion.
The loss of Pronger, the team's captain, stings, but the indefinite loss of Giroux may be the one that really hurts the Flyers. Giroux was leading the league in scoring when he went down, and the Flyers' depth will certainly be tested in his absence.
Even though Giroux made everyone else around him better, The Instigators thinks that Philadelphia has enough depth — for now at least — to sustain the loss of its best player.
