Blue Jays manager John Farrell was well-respected while in Boston, when he served as Red Sox pitching coach from 2006-2010. So it wasn't too surprising when rumors surfaced about whether the Sox would try to lure him away from Toronto when Terry Francona left this past offseason.
Farrell remains with the Jays, though, and he said that he's "completely happy" with his current job. But he did take some time to answer questions regarding the Red Sox during the winter meetings on Tuesday.
Farrell, who admitted that it's humbling to be mentioned in conjunction with any open position, said that he never saw some of the things that are rumored to have gone on in the Red Sox clubhouse this past season.
