The New York Yankees shortstop was busted by the New York Post for allegedly giving parting gifts to women who spend the night at his Trump Towers pad.
“Derek has girls stay with him at his apartment in New York, and then he gets them a car to take them home the next day. Waiting in his car is a gift basket containing signed Jeter memorabilia, usually a signed baseball,” a “pal” of Jeter’s told the Post.
The “pal” reportedly spilled the beans to the paper because he or she was upset after Jeter gave the same girl a second gift basket because he forgot that he had spent the night with her once before.
The article also describes the manner in which Jeter meets women and how he sneaks them into his apartment through a back entrance because he’s “shy.”
The Post is also sure to note that “signed Jeter memorabilia sell like hotcakes on the Internet, with an autographed baseball fetching hundreds and even thousands of dollars.”
