Rich Peverley Remains Out, Tuukka Rask to Start in Net As Bruins Open Road Trip in PhoenixThe Bruins get back to work Wednesday in Phoenix, looking to extend their win streak to seven games as they face the Coyotes to open a post-Christmas three-game road trip.

Rich Peverley participated in the morning skate at Jobing.com Arena, but will not play in the game. The Bruins will continue to rest the forward as he battles a nagging undisclosed injury. It will be the second straight game Peverley has missed, as he sat out Friday's 8-0 win over Florida. Bruins coach Claude Julien is optimistic Peverley will be ready to return Saturday in Dallas.

Zach Hamill will stay in Peverley's spot on the third line alongside Chris Kelly and Benoit Pouliot, while the other three lines will remain unchanged. There will also be no changes on defense, with Steven Kampfer remaining the healthy scratch.

Tuukka Rask will get the start in goal and takes a 155:10 shutout streak into the game after blanking Florida and Los Angeles in his last two starts. Overall, Rask is 7-4-1 with a 1.66 GAA and a .944 save percentage this season.

The Coyotes are without No. 1  goalie Mike Smith (groin) and forwards Martin Hanzal (upper body) and Boyd Gordon (upper body), but could get defenseman Adrian Aucoin back for this game. He will be a game-time decision after missing the last four games with a lower-body injury.

Phoenix also called up forward Andy Miele on Tuesday, but it's uncertain who he will replace up front if he gets into the lineup against the Bruins.

Francois St. Laurent and Paul Devorski will be the referees, with Mike Cvik and Jay Sharrers working the lines.
