Many wondered what Tim Thomas would have in store as an encore to his historic 2010-11 season. Well, it's been business as usual for the Bruins netminder.
Thomas spoke with NESN's Naoko Funayama following the Bruins' 3-1 win over the Penguins on Monday night. He discussed his approach when playing guys like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, and insisted there's still areas of the game that the B's can clean up.
Thomas also talked about Gregory Campbell's willingness to step up and fight Joe Vitale after Vitale came over the top of Thomas a couple of times. He said he appreciates what Cambell did and has already thanked the Bruins forward.
