Which Goalie Owns the Panthers Franchise Record for Most Career Losses? The Florida Panthers are off and running this season, and believe it or not, kids, this isn’t something completely new for the Sunshine State’s hockey community.

Sure, the Panthers haven’t made the postseason in 10 straight seasons (11 years, counting the lockout), but in just their third season of existence, the Panthers made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals before getting swept by the Colorado Avalanche (speaking of that miraculous run, any Bruins fans remember Bill Lindsay, a.k.a. owner of “The Goal?”).

The Panthers would make the postseason twice more in the next four seasons before hitting their current drought. It was a pretty good run but the last decade of failure speaks for itself, as it’s been pretty ugly in Florida since the 90’s went. So who was anchoring the team for the majority of those down years between the pipes? He happens to own the franchise record for most career defeats as a Panthers goalie.

Then again, he owns the record for most wins, too. Go figure. Can you name this netminder?

For a select amount of Bruins games this season, NESN and The Four’s will be teaming up to offer B’s fans the chance at winning a $50 gift card to The Four’s Restaurant and Sports Bar by simply answering a trivia question found at NESN.com/thefours. Questions will be posted at noon every afternoon on the day of a Bruins home game, unless otherwise noted.
