There is very little that Alexander Ovechkin has not accomplished in his seven year NHL career. He has won countless awards — including the Calder and  Hart Memorial trophies — and he has just been selected to his fifth All-Star game. The only thing he hasn’t done? You guessed it, appear in a rap video.

The Russian-born forward raps a verse in Sasha Belyi‘s song “Champion,” where he shows off his flow while discussing many of his accomplishments, including being among the top 10 players this decade and the gold medal he won in the 2008 Olympics.

After scoring over 100 points in two out of the last three seasons, Ovechkin is currently on pace to have his worst performance ever in his NHL career from a scoring standpoint. The prolific goal-scorer has had trouble finding the net this season, as he is currently ranked 41st overall in points, tied for 16th in goals.

However, none of those statistics have seemed to stop “Ovi-Wan Kanobi” from becoming the best rapper the NHL has ever seen.

Check out the video for yourself below, with a hat tip going to Yahoo’s Puck Daddy. Ovechkin is dancing around throughout the video, but his verse starts just before the three-minute mark.
