The Baltimore Ravens looked a little frantic on Sunday as they set up for a potential game-tying field goal. Now, we may be getting answers as to why it appeared that way.
According to TMZ.com, Ravens kicker Billy Cundiff wasn't ready to make his game-tying field goal attempt against the Patriots on Sunday.
With the clock winding down, Cundiff was warming up as he should have been, but supposedly did not come to the sideline when coaches called him over.
It has been reported that coaches continuously called him without response. At least one player told TMZ.com that he witnessed a verbal confrontation between the coaches and Cundiff after the miscommunication. A source also told the website that the coaching staff was "furious" when Cundiff wasn't ready.
"We didn't give him a hard time because it looked like he was ready to kill himself," a source told TMZ.com.
With rumors spreading that Cundiff and the rest of the kicking squad felt rushed on their final attempt, it is no surprise that something unusual may have been happening on the sideline.
