The Bruins will tell you that they once again didn't play their best game on Monday night against the Panthers. But fortunately, it was good enough, as the B's escaped Sunrise with a 3-2 shootout victory.
Those types of wins have been coming more and more frequently of late, which has been a bit concerning for the Black and Gold. But when you put forth an effort that clearly isn't your best and still come away with two points in the standings, it's a good indication that things will really be rolling when everything gets corrected.
That's the way Claude Julien's bunch looked at Monday's win. They're happy to get back to their winning ways, but they're also focused on correcting their mistakes. Their next chance to do so will be on Tuesday night against the Lightning.
