It won't make the loss sting any less, but head coach Claude Julien was pleased with the Bruins' effort against the Rangers on Saturday.
Julien felt that his team battled hard throughout, and had an opportunity to come away with a victory. Unfortunately for Julien's bunch, Marian Gaborik netted a game-winner with just seconds remaining in the extra period.
The Bruins head coach also noted the effort of the team's defensemen, which really got a good transition game going for the B's.
