Nathan Horton has scored some big goals in a Bruins uniform since joining the club during the 2010 offseason. But as the second half of this season gets into full swing, head coach Claude Julien wants to see more from the 26-year-old.
Horton has 14-15-29 totals in 42 games this season, but Julien clearly feels the forward has the potential to be even better, and that he'll need to elevate his game to help the Bruins sustain success going forward.
"Horton has got to pick up his game, no ifs or buts about it," Julien said. "A guy his size needs to get more physically involved. He needs to compete a lot harder."
