Marc Savard's NHL career might be over, but the 34-year-old is enjoying life away from the game.
While Savard would likely prefer to be lacing up the skates alongside his Bruins teammates, something he can't do because of post-concussion symptoms, Savard's health is steadily improving.
Savard checked in with NESN's Dale Arnold, Barry Pederson and Gord Kluzak on Saturday, during which he discussed what he's been doing during his time off the ice. Savard said that he's enjoying the extra time he's spending with his kids, as he's even coaching a youth hockey team.
