Saturday wasn't as kind to the Bruins as it was to the Patriots, as the B's suffered a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Carolina Hurricanes. One of the few bright spots came in the third period, though, when Milan Lucic temporarily put the Bruins ahead.
Lucic put the puck top shelf past Hurricanes netminder Cam Ward. The goal gave the B's a 2-1 edge with under 19 minutes to play, but they couldn't hang on.
