Theo Epstein, Peter Gammons to Play at Annual Hot Stove Cool Music Charity Concert on SaturdayTheo Epstein may no longer be the general manager of the Red Sox, but that doesn't mean he can't return to Boston to jam with some local musicians and celebrities.

Epstein will be playing at the 13th annual Hot Stove Cool Music charity concert on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. The proceeds will go to Foundation to be Named Later, Epstein's charity to help disadvantaged children and families.

The former Sox GM will be playing with renowned baseball writer Peter Gammons and their band the Hot Stove All-Stars, which includes Buffalo Tom’s Bill Janovitz, indie rocker Kay Hanley, J. Geils Bands Seth Justman, folk rocker Robin Lane and others.

Other musicians will be in attendance, such as the Boston rock band The Remains, Grammy award-winning guitarist Derek Trucks and indie bands Deer Tick and Mean Creek.

Mike O'Malley will serve as the emcee for the event. The local actor is best known for his work on Yes, Dear; Glee and Nickelodeon's GUTS.

Tickets are on sale for $40 and $125 for VIP tickets. The show will start at 7 PM, with a VIP party that will take place before the show at 5:30.
