Red Sox first baseman Adrian Gonzalez and Eastern Bank renewed their endorsement agreement for the 2012 season.
The deal will continue last year's inclusion of a charitable partnership, personal appearances and promotions, and will leverage Eastern Bank's partnership with NESN. It will include TV, in-branch and online advertisements, social media promotions and more.
"Eastern Bank is excited to continue our partnership with Adrian Gonzalez," Eastern Bank chairman and CEO Richard E. Holbrook said in a news release. "Last year, Adrian became an instant fan favorite for his superb on-field performance and philanthropic efforts in the community."
Specific details of the partnership will be announced later this spring.
"I look forward to partnering again with Eastern Bank, a great local organization that puts its customers and community first," Gonzalez said in a statement. "Together we can accomplish a lot and make a difference for the underserved and neediest members of our community."
Gonzalez and Eastern Bank together donated $80,000 to eight Habitat for Humanity affiliates across eastern Massachusetts.
