There probably isn't another team in baseball that is ready for the new season to begin as much as the Red Sox are.
Their 2011 season — a campaign that at one point seemingly had endless promise — crashed and burned down the home stretch, leading to an offseason of change.
One of those changes came at general manager where Ben Cherington has stepped in to take the reins from Theo Epstein. The new GM spoke about a variety of topics at the Red Sox Town Hall, but his final message was a strong one, as he pledged that Red Sox will continue to show a tireless effort to rebound this season.
