Blake Wheeler Leads Jets With ‘Double Whammy’ of Goal, Two Assists Against Former Team

The Bruins may have missed Rich Peverley on Friday night against the Jets, but Winnipeg seems to be getting along just fine without him. The Jets traded Peverley to the Bruins for a package including Blake Wheeler last season, and, for at least one night, they showed they might have gotten the better of that deal.

Wheeler scored a goal and assisted on two others to lead the Jets to another win over Boston at the MTS Center and for that, NESN Nation's Dan Duquette is giving him our "Double Whammy" player of the game.

Who would you give it to? Vote for your player of the game in the poll below and leave your thoughts on the game in the comments.
