First Tom Brady, now Brad Marchand. The city of Buffalo just cannot catch a break.
The Bruin's winger Brad Marchand was at it again this week, doing what he does best. No, not scoring goals, stirring the pot.
As the Bruins prepare for their Friday night game in Buffalo, WEEI's Mut and Merloni asked Marchand if he liked Buffalo as a road trip spot. His answer was quite entertaining.
"Yeah, Buffalo would be the worst place in the NHL, so I'm not too excited to go there, but I'll be pretty excited to leave." Marchand said quite simply.
After the whole Tom Brady incident earlier this month, the city of Buffalo might need to take a hint and start cleaning up their act.
Upon landing in Buffalo, Marchand was confronted by Buffalo reporters who asked him to clarify his comments. Marchand responded by saying the comment was a joke and he did not mean to offend any native Buffaloians.
I'm sure that Sabre right winger Patrick Kaleta – a Buffalo native — will have some "kind" words for Marchand Friday when the two teams meet Friday at 7:30.
