Former Patriots and Jets running back Curtis Martin already had a big weekend. Now, he can also claim to be the guy who was standing at midfield when America won free pizza.

Martin, who was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday, took part in the Super Bowl coin toss ceremony on Sunday along with other recent inductees. It was a rather awkward scene since referee John Parry ended up flipping the coin while Martin stood off to the side wearing a flashy suit.

Parry's flip landed on heads, meaning New England won the toss. Perhaps more importantly, though, the millions of people who took part in the Papa Johns Super Bowl XLVI Coin Toss Experience will receive a free large one-topping pizza and a two liter of Pepsi Max as a result of the heads call.
