Tim Thomas had a stellar showing against the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday night, allowing just a late first-period goal to sneak past in the Bruins tough 1-0 loss.
Senators forward Erik Karlsson, who was recently named the NHL's First Star of the Week, was the only one to get a puck past Thomas on the night. The Bruins lost Tyler Seguin to the penalty box just a few moments before and Karlsson took advantage of the power play.
Karlsson scored the ultimate game-winning goal with a spectacular rocket shot from the blue line late in the first, slapping right past a few Bruins defensemen and Thomas' stick on the way into the net.
