As a Cy Young Award contender nearly every year, Jon Lester is widely known for his killer stuff on the mound. But the Red Sox left-hander showed on Tuesday that he's got skills on the hardwood too.
Lester took his shot at the Jordan's Shootout competition at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers on Tuesday night, nailing 11 shots, including the money ball, to give him a commanding lead with a score of 22 in the contest.
Lester said afterwards that he hasn't played much basketball since high school, but apparently the flame-thrower's still got game.
