Jose Iglesias Impresses Bobby Valentine Early During Spring Training, Drawing Rey Ordonez Comparisons (Podcast)The paint has barely dried at JetBlue Park and Fenway and the Red Sox are just about ready to start playing on it.

Pitchers, catchers and finally position players have arrived on the scene in Fort Myers and the Red Sox have quickly gotten underway on the 2012 while attempting to put 2011 in the rear view mirror.

Under the watchful eye of Bobby Valentine, the team has begun workouts and before you know it, the season will be here. Some players have already begun to impress, such as Jose Iglesias, who's already earning some love from the team's new skipper. He may have thrust himself into the mix for a starting position come Opening Day and is drawing comparisons to Rey Ordonez, whom Valentine managed during his time with the New York Mets.

NESN.com's own Didier Morais is down in Fort Myers taking it all in and has the latest on the team's development, from the early arrival of the players to the sparkling new ballpark. He caught up with NESN Nation's Dan Duquette and the two discussed the biggest stories of the spring so far, what it will take for the team to move on from the end to last season, Bobby Jenks' fateful offseason and much more.
