Josh Hennessy Has Big Skates to Fill Replacing Injured Rich Peverley for Bruins (Video)

The one drawback of the Bruins 4-3 shootout victory in Montreal on Wednesday night was the loss of forward Rich Peverley to a knee injury. Peverley has been sent back to Boston for further evaluation and will miss at least the rest of the road trip for the B's.

Peverley's absence is a huge loss for a Bruins squad that has been offensively challenged of late, but the loss opens up a great opportunity for hometown Bostonian and recent Bruins call-up Josh Hennessy to make an impact.

Hennessy will play in Peverley's place on Friday at Winnipeg and should expect an increase in ice-time for the rest of the trip.

Bruins' sideline reporter Naoko Funayama breaks down the impact of Peverley's injury and just what the team expects from Hennessy in his absence.

Check out the video above for analysis on the injury and news on Bruins winger Brad Marchand.
