Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman will be driving the hottest wheels in Boston on Tuesday night.

Edelman — who is a close friend of Bruins forward Shawn Thornton, among others on the hockey team — will be at the TD Garden when the Bruins host the Senators, and he'll ride the Zamboni to help pump up the crowd.

Edelman, kicker Stephen Gostkowski and punter Zoltan Mesko were at Thornton's Stanley Cup party last year. Gostkowski and Thornton are golfing buddies, and Edelman has been introduced to the mix, too.

Edelman will be making his rounds in Boston on Tuesday. He'll be serving a pancake breakfast at the Children's Hospital along with safety Patrick Chung and running back Kevin Faulk.
