Patriots running back Kevin Faulk has a decision to make. He has to decide whether he wants to come back for yet another NFL season or just walk away from playing the game he so dearly loves.
It's clear that Faulk is pretty strongly thinking about retiring, but it's also clear that he's not ready to commit one way or another just yet. The Boston Globe's Shalise Manza Young sat down with the running back for an exclusive NESN Daily interview, and Faulk talked about his past while looking ahead to his future.
If Faulk does walk away, it will be after a pair of seasons littered with injury and setbacks. After missing most of last season with a knee injury, Faulk struggled to return to full strength and earn reps this season.
Through it all, however, Faulk contined to be what his Patriots teammates called on him to be — a leader.
