Naoko Funayama Gives Behind-the-Scenes Look at Hard Work of Typical Game Day for Bruins Media

While fans are accustomed to tuning in to Bruins games on NESN, most haven’t had the opportunity to check out all the work that goes on behind the scenes each game day, from the morning skate all the way up through the night’s contest.

We wanted to change that, and NESN’s Naoko Funayama was more than willing to give everyone a glimpse of what a typical day in the life entails for someone who covers the hometown club.

Funayama takes us on a tour beginning with the morning skate, and shows the hard work that goes into each day throughout the course of a season. She also took some time to discuss what the locker room culture is like, and how Twitter has changed the way in which Bruins fans receive the news regarding their favorite team.
