8 a.m. ET: The All-Star festivities have officially arrived in Orlando as Team Shaq will take on Team Chuck in the Rising Stars Challenge on Friday.

Both teams are composed of nine players that are either rookies or second-year players in the NBA. The TNT analysts, Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley, drafted these players late last week. Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was drafted first by Shaq. He also later picked Jeremy Lin and Ricky Rubio for his squad. This should lead to an exciting hightlight reel of dunks for Griffin.

Team Chuck also has some great young players with the likes of Kyrie Irving and John Wall at the point guard position and Derrick Williams as the best young forward on the squad.

Stay tuned for more coverage of this event as it is set to tip off at 9 p.m. ET.
