Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk was leveled by Ottawa's Chris Neil during Saturday's game. And although the hit appeared to be clean, it was obvious that Boychuk was a bit shaken up.

Boychuk left the game and did not return as the third period saw an increase in physical play. Details of the defenseman's injury were limited right after the game, although head coach Claude Julien noted that Boychuk was feeling better.

General manager Peter Chiarelli reportedly told CSNNE.com's Joe Haggerty on Sunday afternoon that Boychuk is "still a little foggy" from the hit. Chiarelli said that the team will have a full update on Monday, when the team is scheduled to practice for the first time since Saturday's 5-3 win.

Haggerty reports that a source close to Boychuk indicated that the defenseman is OK, though, and "should be good to go for the next tilt."

That tilt comes on Tuesday night in Boston against the same Senators.
