Report: Rick Nash's Agent 'Hopeful' Deal Will Get Done Before Trade DeadlinePerhaps Rick Nash will end up moving after all.

Columbus is demanding a king's ransom in exchange for the five-time All-Star, but the winger's agent, Joe Resnick, is hopeful a deal will get done before Monday's deadline, according to TSN's Bob McKenzie.

"We're hopeful a deal can get done prior to the trade deadline that is fair and equitable for the Blue Jackets," Resnick reportedly said. "However, if a deal is not reached, then the list of acceptable teams will not change at a later date."

A previous report indicated that the Bruins, Kings, Rangers, Sharks and Maple Leafs are on the list of teams that Nash would approve joining. Columbus' asking price might have to come down, however, for Nash to end up getting dealt.

The 27-year-old has 20-22-42 totals through 61 games this season, but he's consistently been one of the game's premier players in recent years, reaching the 40-goal mark on twos separate occasions.
