Roush Fenway Racing is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and the group wants to take its celebration to the social media scene.
The team announced that it wants its fans to use a new hashtag when tweeting about the group this season. The creation of the #RFR25 tag is a way for the team to better incorporate its fans during the celebratory year.
This announcement comes only a few days after Roush Fenway Racing revealed the team would be launching a page on Google Plus. Fans will be able to use the Google Plus page to ask questions that will be answered by Roush Fenway Racing drivers on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.
The racing group is also scheduling hangouts with defending Daytona 500 champion Trevor Bayne and team owner Jack Roush on Sunday, Feb. 26 and a Daytona 500 recap with NASCAR champion Greg Biffle on Feb. 27.
