Alanna, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer when she was just 9 months old, was flown out to New York to meet Bieber after a local social media campaign caught the attention of the singer's manager.
A Massachusetts native, Routh had an arranged marriage to Bieber last year at a Jimmy Fund event, and was finally given an opportunity to meet her "husband." She recently spoke about her meeting with the pop superstar on the Dennis and Callahan Morning Show.
