Tyler Seguin's shootout goal was the difference on Wednesday night in Montreal. The Bruins, who had dominated for most of the night, let a 3-1 third-period lead slip away, and watched as the rival Canadiens seemed sure of a comeback victory. But, the B's held strong.
Tim Thomas put on a vintage performance in the overtime and stonewalled all three Montreal attempts in the shootout to secure a victory, and help the Bruins remain atop the Northeast Division standings.
