In a scary moment during a game Saturday, Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed on the field of an apparent heart attack and required serious medical attention.
Muamba was playing against Tottenham in an FA Cup match when he suddenly dropped to the ground without warning. He was unresponsive and doctors administered CPR at the scene.
While their efforts persisted for ten minutes, he still left the pitch not breathing. The match between Tottenham and Bolton was suspended.
Paramedics were able to resuscitate Muamba and he is breathing again, according to a tweet by Sky News' Mark White. He is resting at a hospital in stable condition, according to the report.
