Bruins’ Slow Start Leads to Tough Loss in San Jose (Video)

The Bruins were coming off a pair of much-needed wins against a couple Eastern Conference rivals in the Philadelphia Flyers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The B's latest test, though, came in the form of a three-game trip out West, the first of which kicked off on Thursday night in San Jose. The B's appeared a bit tired or even jetlagged to start off the game, as the same squad that scored eight goals against Toronto on Tuesday fell completely silent for the first 55 minutes of this hockey game.

The Bruins' slow start paired with a few bad defensive plays early on were just enough to see Boston drop a few easy points to the Sharks.

Check out the video above to hear Jack Edwards' and Andry Brickley's thoughts on the outcome of this one.
