The TD Garden has recognized a unique opportunity to interact with the Celtics and Bruins community. While the Garden hosts the NCAA Tournament over the upcoming weekend, the 23 championship banners (17 Celtics, six Bruins) will be relocated, according to a press release.

Many of the banners will be housed at The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Dorchester, Mass.

The two most recent banners will be brought to additional locations throughout the Greater Boston area. The TD Garden is launching a fan campaign to determine where the 2011 Bruins and 2008 Celtics banners will be housed for the weekend.

Fans will have the chance to suggest locations for the banners through the TD Garden Facebook page or Twitter account (using the hashtag #MyBannerDayIs).
