Bruins’ forward Chris Kelly is usually praised for his focus and precision on the ice. But on Saturday night, the B’s assistant captain decided to show off some of physicality.
Following a faceoff late in the first period, Kelly got slammed into the boards by Kings’ forward Trevor Lewis. And apparently Kelly took the hit personally.
Kelly picked himself up off the ice and decided to let loose some of his frustrations by means of his fist into Lewis’ face. The typically quiet and elegant player showed off his brute strength by first jabbing Lewis a few times then pulled off his best WWE impersonation in slamming him down to the ice.
