Concussions are a common injury in sports — and hockey, in particular. However, their severity is sometimes overlooked, and many remain unaware of what exactly a concussion is.
Dr. William Meehan, director of the the Sports Concussion Clinic at Children's Hospital Boston, joined NESN's Dale Arnold during Thursday's Bruins game to define a concussion for those who aren't sure. He also talked about diagnosing a concussion, and how we're still continuing to learn more about concussions and other brain injuries.
