Boston College looked nearly flawless in Saturday night's 4-1 win over Hockey East rival Maine.
Jerry York was impressed by the effort that his players gave out on the ice in the TD Garden, capturing BC's third-straight and 11th ever Hockey East conference title.
Parker Milner's career-high 39 saves on the night was a big reason why the Eagles took home the trophy. Freshman Johnny Gaudreau's three-point performance (two goals, one assist) also played an integral role in the victory. Gaudreau was honored with the tournament MVP award after the game as well.
York praised his players for their performances and singled out Milner and Gaudreau for their contributions.
